  BY TRAIN:
Take SEPTA's Market-Frankford (Blue), Trolley (Green), or any Regional Rail line to 30th Street Station. Walk east (towards Center City) on Market Street.  While on the bridge just after you cross the river, walk down the pedestrian ramp. At the landing, walk down the next ramp (heading south) if you want to go toward the finish of the course, or down the steps (heading north) if you want to go toward the start or middle of the course.

BY BUS:
* Route 7 (every 30 minutes) runs north on 22nd Street, south on 23rd Street (below Market Street), and near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
* Route 9 (every 60 minutes) runs east on Chestnut Street and west on Walnut Street.
* Route 12 (every 30 minutes) runs west on Walnut Street, then south on 23rd Street, as well as north on 22nd Street, then east on Locust Street.
* Route 31 (every 45-60 minutes) runs east & west on Market Street.
* Route 38 (every 40 minutes) runs along the Ben Franklin Parkway and near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
* Route 40 (every 30 minutes) runs north on 22nd Street starting at Lombard Street, then west on Walnut Street, as well as east on Chestnut Street then south on 23rd Street.
* Route 44 (every 30 minutes - starting 9:00 am) runs east & west on Market Street.
* Route 48 (every 15 minutes) runs west on Arch Street then north on 22nd Street.
* Route 121 (No service on weekends).
* Route 124 (every 60 minutes) runs east & west on Market Street.
* Route 125 (every 60 minutes) runs east & west on Market Street.

NOTE: Verify all times & routes through SEPTA (www.septa.com). This may not be a comprehensive list of routes, and may be out of date.

BY TAXI:
The closet that a vehicle can get to the finish is 25th Street & Locust Street. The closest to the Race Street entrance is 23rd Street and Race Street. The closest to the start is along the Ben Franklin Parkway around Eakins Oval (remember, King Drive is closed to auto traffic during the day on weekends from April through October).

Don't even think about parking on or alongside the course!

NOTE: Directions are to Race Street, near the midpoint of the race, where parking is most readily available (for free).  Consult a map or online mapping site to verify these directions.  King (West River) Drive will be CLOSED to auto traffic.

FROM NJ:
After crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge, stay to the left to enter 676-W/30-W. Take the 2nd exit on the right (Ben Franklin Pkwy/Museum District). At the top of the ramp, turn right, then a quick sharp right, then another right onto 21st. Turn right at the 3rd (???) light onto Race Street.

FROM 95 North and South in PA:
Take 95 to 676-W (x22) to Central Phila. You will soon take your 2nd exit (on the right) for Ben Franklin Pkwy/Museum District. Follow FROM NJ directions above.

FROM 76-East:
Take 76-E towards Center City. Exit on the left for 676-E, then quickly exit on the right for 23rd Street, then turn right, heading south on 23rd Street. Race Street is the first cross street you reach (you would turn right and walk one block and cross the railroad tracks to enter the park). Look for street parking (free on Sunday) as soon as you exit. If you continue two blocks beyond Race Street, there is a huge parking lot at Arch Street on your right (which is rarely staffed on evenings or weekends). You shouldn't have a problem finding street parking within a few blocks of Race Street.
To go to the finish at Locust Street, continue several blocks beyond Race Street (0.6 mile) and turn right on Locust Street, then take it to the end. On a Sunday morning, you may have to search a bit, but will likely find parking.
To go to the start at King Drive, quickly exit on the right for 23rd Street as above, but instead of turning right again to head south on 23rd Street, continue straight, then take your first left onto 22nd Street. You will soon turn left onto the Ben Franklin Parkway. The art museum is directly ahead of you, a few blocks away. There is parking along the Ben Franklin Parkway, in the lot in front of the art museum, and behind the art museum.

FROM 295-N:
295-N x26 to 76-W Walt Whitman Bridge. Closely follow signs to get onto 76-W, then continue with FROM NJ directions above.

IMPORTANT: In the unlikely event that a train is blocking the Race Street or Locust Street crossing, street level access is at King Drive beside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Steps also descend to the path at Walnut Street. Ramps are also at Market and Chestnut Streets.
